We are thrilled to announce the formal establishment of our Asia Headquarters in Seoul, Korea to serve as the liaison office for all 18 of our partnering countries in the region, amounting over 3 billion people, including 3 of the world's most populous countries (China, India and Indonesia), as well as dozens of NGOs, schools, teachers unions, and corporations.
As its first step, we had a special moment as we agreed to also establish the Bach Family Center for Parent Education and Policy within the School of Education at the Seoul National University, one of the most respected research institutions in the region.
